Meeting With Students Of The Technological College Of Emperor Peter I

Every year EB Fund representatives take part in the events held for the NARFU student community aimed at the prevention of infectious diseases and formation of awareness to their own health.

This year such a meeting was organized on November 12 with the support of the director and lectors at the Technological College of Emperor Peter I. The meeting was held by Alexandra Staritsyna, an EB Fund Manager.

The students listened to a lecture in which Alexandra spoke about tuberculosis, ways of transmission and prevention of this infection, the situation of tuberculosis in Russia and in the world. The issues of diagnosis and quality treatment of tuberculosis were also on the agenda, including growing concern with regards to MDR-TB.
