X Congress of the National Association of Phthisiatricians

The X Congress of the National Association of Phthisiatricians in 2021 was held in St. Petersburg on November 25-26 in a hybrid format: TB specialists were given the opportunity to participate in symposia and round tables physically, but the majority worked online.

The agenda of the Congress included relevant and socially significant topics like management of TB/HIV patients or MDR-TB.

Thus, the chief phthisiatrician of the Northwestern Russia, Prof. A.O. Maryandyshev made a presentation to the participants on the Effectiveness of Tuberculosis Elimination Programs in the Northwestern Russia.
