Welcome to Bereznik!

     9 February 2017 team of workers from the Arkhangelsk TB Dispensary and manager of EB Fund I.Gvozdeva came to Bereznik village to discuss TB issues within the project Forewarned is forearmed.  

    À. Kropivny and I. Tarasova held lectures on TB for health workers, and also talked about importance of how to collect sputum correctly.

    Ñ. Popova and L. Fomina rendered some practical help to the local phthisiatrician.

I. Gvozdeva told about EB Fund's activities within the international program Stop TB in the North West Russia in our Lifetime and Forewarned is Forearmed project aimed at TB prevention and healthy lifestyle promotion. Participants could have a Smokelyzer test to define CO in lungs Central District Hospital workers received EB Fund leaflets and brochures on TB prevention, other lung diseases, smoking danger to spread among population of Vinogradovsky district.

    We hope that work of the specialists from Arkhangelsk will bring its fruits and help to improve detection and treatment of TB in this district!
