Working in Kargopol

Specialists of the Arkhangelsk TB Dispensary and the EB fund manager conducted activities to prevent tuberculosis in Kargopol.

On March 16-17, experts from the Arkhangelsk Dispensary S. Popova, I. Tarasova, A. Kropivny and fund manager A. Avdeeva visited Kargopol and analyzed all anti-tuberculosis activities in the Kargopol district in the central regional hospital. S.Popova, I.Tarasova, A.Kropivnv rendered practical assistance on the issues of providing antituberculous care to residents. A lecture on modern principles of treatment of tuberculosis was held at the general hospital conference. Issues of epidemiology of this infection, causes of an increase in the number of new cases in 2016 in the district and ways to solve emerging problems were discussed. The medical workers were shown a film and given information materials on the prevention of tuberculosis and healthy lifestyle.
