International Chidren's Day

June 1 is globally recognized as a Children's Day. For the first time this Day was celebrated in 1950 within the initiative of the International Democratic Women's Federation. The UN supported the initiative and declared the protection of the rights, life and health of children to be one of the most important areas of its work.

Childhood is one of the priorities in the work of EB Fund. The Arkhangelsk Oblast provides consistently low rates of childhood tuberculosis annually. In 2015, 13 children fell ill with tuberculosis, and only 4 in 2016. Thus, moving towards the elimination of tuberculosis by 2035, as WHO sees it, the Easy Breathing Charity Fund continues cooperation with children's specialized centers. On June 1, Arkhangelsk children sanatorium arranged a children's sports festival "Spring Marathon" in which the tutors and pupils of the center took part. There were funny songs, games and sports competitions.
