Meeting in the administration of the Krasnoborsky district
February 16, 2016 the deputy head of the administration for social policy of Krasnoborsky district Tatyana Vasilievna Ovchinnikova hold a meeting with medical and pedagogical communities, guardianship and custody body specialists, the team of the EB Fund and the public.
The meeting was devoted to health issues, its preservation among the population of the Krasnoborsky district and the Arkhangelsk Oblast. The report "Together we will overcome TB!" was delivered by N.I. Nizovtseva. It summarized the results of the fight against TB in the Oblast and its districts. Strategic directions of this work for the coming years were reported. In the Arkhangelsk Oblast, as well as throughout the whole of Russia, all civil society institutions adhere to the WHO strategy for the elimination of tuberculosis: a 90% reduction in the TB incidence rate and 95% reduction in TB deaths by 2035, compared with 2015 levels. No family is burdened with catastrophic costs due to TB by 2035.
The anti-TB measures in our Oblast are also aimed at achieving the goals of WHO:
1. Patient-oriented comprehensive treatment and TB prevention;
2. Strong policy and support systems;
3. Intensification of research efforts.
E. G. Sbrodova, head physician of the TB sanatorium for children named after M.N. Favorskaia reported about "Live and Breathe" project implementation (presidential grant) aimed at carrying out a complex of rehabilitation measures among children in the TB Sanatorium, including psychological counseling, additional educational programs, visits to cultural, sports events, enterprises and establishments, meetings with successful people of the Oblast. In general, all project activities create conditions for psychoemotional rehabilitation of children and adolescents who find themselves in a difficult life situation, and raise awareness of the population of the Arkhangelsk Oblast on the TB prevention and treatment in children.
Medical workers, teachers, representatives of guardianship and custody body took an active part in the discussion of health control problems, the upbringing of a healthy generation.
