Strengthening the competence of specialists of the Komi Republic

On May 22-24 two trainings were held in Syktyvkar for Syktyvkar anti-tuberculosis service workers and districts of the Komi Republic.

1. "Organization of infection control in anti-tuberculosis institutions" (by Vlasova N.A.)

The purpose of this training is to improve the quality of infection control by reducing the risk of nosocomial infection and re-infection in patients and reducing the risk of tuberculosis in nursing staff.

 Within the framework of this two-day training, nine nurses from the Republican TB Dispensary and the districts of the Komi Republic were trained.

 2. "Teaching skills of self-presentation" (by Avdeeva A.A.)

The purpose of this training is to improve the quality of the project "Competence strengthening of Specialists". Based on the results of the conference in Syktyvkar on April 11, an analysis of oral presentations was conducted and a decision was made to organize this training. The training was developed on the basis of Health Communication and recommendations for oral presentations. The materials were adapted to the needs of the course.

Four medical workers of the Republican TB Dispensary took part in the training.
