We are for a healthy childhood!

The summer weather is magnificent in Arkhangelsk, kids and children spend their holidays in camps and recreational institutions of the Oblast.

In July 2018, Sasha Avdeeva, Manager of the Easy Breathing Fund, organized and held classes "I'm not afraid of tuberculosis!" in some children's recreational institutions.

The classes were attended by:

Kindergarten № 127 "Pochemuchka", Dance Studio 7200 ( Arkhangelsk) and children's camp "Pearl of the North" (Novodvinsk).

Children were told about such a disease as tuberculosis, how smoking increases the risk of development of this infection.

Then the children were presented several videos about the dangers of smoking, its link with tuberculosis, about young people hospitalized with tuberculosis.

Children and adolescents discussed the problems of smoking in our society, expressing their opinions. They shared their personal experiences and fears, suggesting never to acquire such bad habits as smoking, abuse of psychoactive substances and alcohol, as these habits destroy the immune system and expose a person to terrible dangers, including tuberculosis.

More than 100 children participated in the classes.
