The work of the EB Fund in Syktyvkar

The EB Fund has been carrying out intensive work: some adjustments were made in the implementation of activities in Russian-Norwegian program "Stop tuberculosis in the North-West Russia in our lifetime" for the remaining period of the year in the Arkhangelsk region. Monitoring of the project "Reduce the burden of tuberculosis in Komi Republic " was prepared together with Norwegian partners. The monitoring visit in Syktyvkar took place on September 10-14 and its main participants were A. Maryandyshev, N.Nizovtseva, G. Balantsev, A. Avdeeva, E. Heldal, B.Stenberg.
Issues addressed:
- Implementation of automated system "InIT TB" in the Republican TB dispensary, its advantages for TB monitoring in the Republic of Komi, the stages and terms of its introduction, solutions to align with the Federal registry and other programmes in the Republican dispensary.

- Monitoring of activities in components "Stay in touch" and "Impact of social support on TB treatment for PLHVs in ambulant setting in Komi".

- Discussion of "Competence strengthening" component and including the "Supervision" component for 2018-2019 at the suggestion of S. Vodopyanov, head of the Dispensary.
