Launch of Cooperation with the Murmansk Oblast

“Reduce The Burden of TB in the Murmansk Oblast” - this is a new initiative in this area.

A number of meetings were held from 09.07 to 11.07.19 at the Murmansk TB Dispensary between the EB Fund and TB workers on the implementation of the international project.

Its main goal is to reduce morbidity and mortality from tuberculosis in the Oblast by applying patient-oriented technologies (treatment in comfortable conditions for patients - home-based treatment; ambulant treatment, introducing video-observed treatment). Components also include capacity building of TB workers and introduction of a tuberculosis monitoring program in the Murmansk Oblast.
