The meeting highlighted the implementation of the ongoing activities. The Norwegian side has determined the amount of the remaining funding for the projects "Severodvinsk - a City Free from Tuberculosis" and "Reduce the Burden of Tuberculosis in the Murmansk Oblast."
Work on the development of patient-oriented technologies will continue: providing individual support to patients in need, the widespread use of digital health, the use of new tuberculosis drugs in the treatment, using modern treatment regimens recommended by the Scientific Centers of Russia and the International Union for the Fight against Tuberculosis and Lung Diseases.
Capacity building activities for the health workers in the Murmansk and Arkhangelsk Oblasts, provided earlier, will continue. It should be noted that in connection with the restrictive measures taken in connection with the COVID19 pandemic, the events will mainly take place online.
The meeting also covered the plans for the arrival of Norwegian partners to Arkhangelsk, Murmansk and Syktyvkar in 2021, as well as holding a OR seminar.
