Coordination Council

On March 19, 2021, a Coordination Council was held online at the TB dispensary department of the Severodvinsk City Hospital No. 1 as part of the activities of the Russian-Norwegian project "Severodvinsk - a City Free from Tuberculosis".

The Coordinating Council considered the issues of diagnosing new cases of tuberculosis in Severodvinsk over the last month, defined plans for follow-up of the new patients with tuberculosis, including the provision of individual financial and psychological assistance. Due to the fact that some patients have not yet been fully examined, it was decided to return to the discussion of their treatment plan at a new meeting of the Coordinating Council on March 23, 2021.

Also at the Council, the schemes of preventive treatment of 3 children from family contact (the mother is sick with multidrug-resistant tuberculosis) were determined.
