Bringing Light Without Burning Out
29.03.2021
A part of the project is a training which is an adaptation of the course Health Communication for Healthcare Workers involved in TB Control, which was developed by the "LHL International" International Foundationand and conducted in Russia, Tanzania, Malawi, Belarus, Norway, Romania, etc.
For the first time, the training is conducted by Russian trainers only, without the participation of Norwegian partners.
The training consists of three modules and a final meeting scheduled for the end of May.
We would like to share that the participants highly appreciated the training. Here are some feedback from the participants:
“I liked the atmosphere in the class. Feeling of trust and empathy from the facilitators and colleagues for our challenges”.
“The work of a doctor is always associated with communication, stress and conflict. Such training will make the doctor's work easier and, therefore, will improve the quality of patient care."
“I liked the balance of theory and practice, the contrast between active days and calm days of meditation. I liked the fact that when participating in simulated situations, you can use the phrases of your colleagues and use them in your own practice."
“I really liked the ease and accessibility of information, with the same ease I could apply new knowledge in my daily life. I began to think positively, communicate without judgments, and again began to formulate my goals clearly."
“These kind of activities should be held regularly. This helps to remember the basic rules of effective communication. It was like I was on holiday. "
“I will analyze my emotions and reactions more. I will be calmer about stressful situations, applying the principles of positive thinking. "
"I hope that the continuation of our training will take place!"
