The "Severodvinsk - A City Free From TB" Project continues!

EB Fund received financial support from the Ministry of Health and Care Services of Norway for its continuation from June 1, 2021 to May 31, 2022.
This project includes:
- Screening of the population from high risk groups
- Finding latent tuberculosis infection in high-risk groups
- Timely provision of preventive treatment with new anti-tuberculosis drugs to persons who have been diagnosed with latent tuberculosis infection in order to protect them from tuberculosis in the future
- Development of patient-centered technologies: video-observed treatment, being treated at home, provision of individual social support to patients in need (coverage of transportation costs to the place of examination and treatment and back, coverage of costs for additional examination not included in the list of mandatory health insurance, providing foodkits, clothing and footwear).
- Systematic advanced training of medical workers of the anti-tuberculosis service and related services (organization and holding of scientific conferences, seminars, round tables and coordination councils) in order to keep up with the latest scientific achievements in the diagnosis and treatment of tuberculosis, the introduction of new technologies in the fight against tuberculosis) is the main component of the ongoing project.

The Russian-Norwegian Project "Severodvinsk - a City Free from Tuberculosis" has been launched in the Arkhangelsk oblast in 2019.EB Fund received financial support from the Ministry of Health and Care Services of Norway for its continuation from June 1, 2021 to May 31, 2022.
