1 Module Of The SORT IT Course In Arkhangelsk Has Been Implemented Successfully

From 21 to 26 June 2021 in Arkhangelsk the 1st Module of the course "Structured Operations Research and Its Training " was held.

 The course was attended by specialists from several regions of Russia.

The facilitators of the course:

MD, Professor at the University of Bergen: Center for International Health, Department of World Public Health and Primary Health Care

Einar Heldal

MD, Senior Medical Officer, Norwegian Institute of Public Health

Andrey Maryandyshev

MD, Professor at the Northern State Medical University, Chief Phthisiologist of the North-West of Russia, Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences

Due to the restrictive measures on coronavirus in the world, the facilitators from Norway Sven and Einar could not come to Arkhangelsk for physical participation in the course, so it was decided to conduct classes in a semi-digital format: participants and a facilitator from the Russian side met daily in the conference room of the hotel, and the Norwegian colleagues delivered lectures online.

This is the first semi-digital course for EB Fund to provide connection of 8 devices to an online conference on the Zoom platform from one room simultaneously.

1st Module completed successfully. The 2nd and 3rd Modules of the course "Structured operational research and training" are now ahead of us.

 The training should be finished in December 2021.
