Prevention Of Child TB In Severodvinsk

On 29 June, 2021, a conference on TB in children was held at the Severodvinsk City Children's Clinical Hospital.

The main report “Detection and Prevention of Tuberculosis in Children” was presented by Elena Nikishova, MD, PhD, Professor of the Department of Phthisiopulmonology, Northern State Medical University.

Nina Nizovtseva, Chair of the EB Fund, made a presentation on the project in Severodvinsk making the stress on the TB prevention activities.

The conference was attended by over 30 specialists from the Severodvinsk City Children's Clinical Hospital.

Experts asked practical questions on tuberculin diagnostics and diaskintests in children; the need and duration of preventive treatment. Elena Nikishova gave full answers to the questions, shared the ways of solving problems that arise during the examination of children.
